Warranty

Crafts Mecca ensures that all our products meet the quality and safety standards required by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania. Each product is carefully selected, manufactured in accordance with the technical specifications and complies with the requirements of the sales contract. The guarantee we provide to our customers not only confirms the reliability of the products, but also ensures their safe and long-term use.

Warranty conditions

The guarantee is subject to the presentation of proof of purchase. It takes effect from the date of the invoice or warranty passport.

The warranty is void if the product is not used for its intended purpose or if the instructions for use and maintenance are not followed. Also if the instructions are not followed correctly.

Products with automatic controls are not covered by the warranty if the malfunction is caused by incorrect connection of electrical parts.

In accordance with Government Decree No 697 of 11 June 2001 (as amended), quality goods that are produced according to the customer’s individual instructions or tailored to his/her specific needs shall not be returned or exchanged.

Some differences or variations in products are considered to be natural characteristics of the products and are not considered defects:

  • The shade, pattern or other visual characteristics of the product may differ from the samples shown in the catalogues or on the website.

  • Slight discolouration, especially due to sun exposure.

  • Different fading intensities in sunlit and unlit areas.

  • Fabrics (roller blinds, vertical blinds) are produced in batches, so shades may vary slightly. Products ordered at different times may also have shade differences. In order to have identical fabrics for several products, it is recommended that they are ordered at the same time and that they are installed side by side.

  • Failure to fully unwrap a fabric if it has been partially wrapped for some time (“mechanical memory”).

  • The pattern of the fabric may not match perfectly with the edges of the product.

  • Slight stretching or rippling of the fabric due to handling (tension, temperature changes, UV light, humidity, etc.).

  • Slight variations in the shade of metal or plastic parts of the same colour.

  • Differences in texture and shade between slats, profiles or other parts of wooden blinds.

  • Minor surface irregularities or defects in the wooden components, not noticeable from a distance of 1 m.

  • Painting of minor defects or cut ends with a matching colour.

  • For plastic blinds – porosity of the material may be visible at the cut points.

  • Natural wear and tear on moving parts during use.

Crafts Mecca UAB is continuously introducing advanced technologies to offer high quality products. But it is important to know:

  • Goods that have been manufactured or customised according to the customer’s individual measurements or preferences (e.g. cut, sawn or otherwise specially prepared) are not exchangeable or returnable. This is stipulated in the Retail Trade Rules (Government Resolution No 697 of 11 June 2001, as amended on 22 July 2014).

  • If the delivered goods do not meet the quality requirements or if the buyer wishes to change them because of their shape, size, colour or model, he may contact Crafts Mecca UAB, unless the goods have been made to order.

  • Goods that have been used, damaged or have lost their original appearance cannot be returned. Minor changes to the packaging caused by inspection of the product do not constitute a defect.

  • If the buyer damages the goods or causes them to lose their merchantable appearance, the buyer must compensate the seller for the loss suffered.
